Biography

Ezequiel Méndez Coria (36) is an Image and Sound Designer (UBA) and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Communication (UNQUI). He began his professional career as a sound assistant in documentaries in the Province of Buenos Aires, and after settling in Ushuaia, he participates in the production of cultural and educational content as non-teaching staff at the Extension Secretariat of the National University of Tierra del Fuego, where he serves as head of production (one-offs, series, feature films) and also directs some outreach content, which he has been doing since 2015. He is a tenured university professor of documentary filmmaking and audiovisual production in the Audiovisual Media degree program at the same institution. He also works as an independent producer and was one of the founding partners of ACAF (Fuegian Audiovisual Civil Association). He is currently developing his debut feature-length documentary as a director.
