Located to the north of the city of Ushuaia, this mountain highlights a glacier at its summit. It can be accessed by vehicles via a road that starts from the city. Reaching the base takes no more than 10 minutes. Along the way, there are hotels, restaurants, and the Sherman track where cross-country skiing and other winter activities take place. At the base, there is a tea cabin and a chairlift, currently out of service but efforts are being made to reactivate it. You can also hike from the base to the top via easily accessible trails, especially in summer. The Martial Glacier shows forests, meltwater streams, and abundant snow in winter. Its landscapes have been used for documentaries and advertisements. The easy access and proximity to the city of Ushuaia make it an ideal location.
