The route, over two thousand metres long, is located on Elcano Street between Belgrano and Av. Santa Fe, and extends to the roundabout of Plaza de las Américas. A series of seven monuments, facing the Malvinas Islands, form the main setting where the Vigil for the Glorious Deed of Malvinas has been held since 1995. Among the monuments are the “Eternal Flame,” the memory of Tom, the artillery dog, two Air Force planes, and a war tank that pays permanent homage to the Malvinas cause and its heroes. The area is part of the coastal promenade; it is a very windy place, with parking, public restrooms, and electric charging stations for vehicles and devices.
