It is located in the centre of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. Its head is about 100 km from the city of Ushuaia and 7 km from the city of Tolhuin via National Route No. 3. This lake is over 100 km long and it is shared between Chile and Argentina. The lake has turquoise waters and borders mountains and forests offering a typically Patagonian panoramic view. At its head, there is a beach with some rental cabins. The Kaiken inn, which has a restaurant, is also located there.
