Cabo San Pablo

On the cold waters of the South Atlantic lies this beach, famous for having a stranded ship among its sands: the Desdémona, which has been there since 1985. The tide at the cape is very variable and can reach the ship or recede. Next to the beach, there is a hill with a small lighthouse on top. You can reach the cape via National Route No. 3 taking the detour on Provincial Route A, which is not paved. It takes approximately an hour and a half to get to this beach from Tolhuin and almost two hours from Río Grande.
