Outside its central area, Río Grande has multiple neighbourhoods with all sorts of lifestyles. Along the coast, there are residential houses, typical of professional neighbourhoods. Coming from Ushuaia, the industrial area with its large warehouses stands out. To the south, crossing the Mosconi Bridge, you can see the Historic Case of the CAP Neighbourhood; the Margen Sur, where working-class neighbourhoods prevail, and other neighbourhoods characterised by their small farms. Social housing in monoblock style is located in different neighbourhoods of the municipality, where each dwelling stands for a different stage in the architectural history of Río Grande.
