Mount Olivia is the highest peak in the mountain range that borders the north of the city of Ushuaia. At its base, in the Carbajal Valley area, the Olivia River originates and eventually flows into the Onashaga Channel or Beagle Channel. This location is known for being chosen as a filming site for the movie “The Revenant,” produced and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
