PUERTO ALMANZA

Puerto Almanza is a small fishing village located on the eastern coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. To get there, you must take National Route No. 3 and then Provincial Route J. The activity carried out by artisanal fishermen focuses on the extraction of king crabs and mollusks from the Beagle Channel and the fishing of bass and salmon. There are also mussels, clams, sea urchins, and trout farming entrepreneurial initiatives. All these seafood dishes can be tasted in the restaurants located on the main and only street of the village. Almanza is ideal for exploring the coastal area and its attractions, such as Punta Paraná. It is also on the way to Estancia Harberton.
