Project

Tierra de Film is a project carried out by the Audiovisual Production Department of the Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur -National University of Tierra del Fuego (UNTDF)- in association with the Asociación Civil del Audiovisual Fueguino (ACAF).

Thanks to the COFECYT -It stands for Federal Council of Science, Technology and Innovation. It is a body that develops, advises and coordinates national and regional policies and priorities that promote the harmonious development of scientific, technological and innovative activities in the country. This is a  Federal Investment Project granted by the Argentinian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation together with the Department of Science and Technology of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur. Tierra de Film project started in 2022. 

The idea, design and general management of the project were carried out by the Audiovisual Production Department of the UNTDF while the administrative management was carried out by the Technology Unit which is part of the Department of Science and Technology of the UNTDF.

The images, photographs, videos and sounds that make up Tierra de Film were mostly recorded by the technical division of the Audiovisual Production Department of the UNTDF, while its production division was in charge of logistic services and information gathering.
